![]() ![]() It will transmit everything that goes into the interface output (in short, everything that you hear) plus the mics that are plugged into 1/2, but then, that would be problematic since, when other people are talking into Discord or such apps, they would hear themselves in return. If you want to use a mic without having to monitor it through the output, it’s this second option that should interest you. Some interfaces have both a dedicated Virtual channel and an option to merge it with the 1/2 input. The easiest way ( but not recommended) would be to enable Loopback on your interface, and set the loopback channel as the input in Discord. There are several ways to do what you’re aiming to, but some are better than others : I didn't cover all the set-up involving Voice Meeter Banana and that video doesn't really explain it very well, but if you need more help let me know.First, if you are on Windows, you should make sure to follow these few steps, if not done already. They will not hear themselves, because Discord output device is set to the virtual cable instead of the default (Voicemeeter VAIO). When you wish for people to hear the music you are listening in your browser, simply activate either B1 or B2 (whichever you set in Discord under input device) and now they will both hear your voice and the browser at the same time. You do this by selecting your Microphone under HARDWARE INPUT 1 and then activating B1 or B2.Īlright, now under VIRTUAL INPUTS you have Voicemeeter VAIO (this should also be your default playback device set in Windows). Now you also need to send the signal from your microphone to one of these virtual lines. These are virtual outputs of Voice Meeter Banana and they will replace your microphone. ![]() Also you set the input device in Discord to either VoiceMeeter Output (which is B1 when you look in the Banana software) or VoiceMeeter AUX Output (which is B2) - It does't matter which one you choose, but you need to stick to the same further on. Once you set up Voice Meeter Banana and a virtual cable, you set that virtual cable as output device in Discord. ![]()
